Recently, the concept of "waste free city" is very popular. Many people think it strange that waste will not be allowed in cities in the future?

In fact, "waste free city" does not mean a city without waste, nor does it mean to put an end to the generation of waste, but from the perspective of urban management, effectively use solid waste, reduce the generation of solid waste, solve the problem of historical solid waste stockpiling, and ensure a virtuous circle.

Non waste cities should adhere to the "four principles", that is, visible, reducible, usable and cancellable.

"Visible" is the whole process monitoring, putting all wastes under supervision, and completely eliminating the unorganized discharge of wastes.

The "reducible" is to reduce the amount at the source and relieve the environmental pressure.

"Usability" refers to the recycling of waste through various methods to turn waste into treasure.

"Eliminatable" means to eliminate the environmental impact of waste end treatment to a large extent.

No waste city, we can make those efforts for it

The construction of "waste free city" is an important way for the sustainable development of cities in the future; It is also a project to benefit future generations; It is also a work for all people to build and share, which cannot be separated from the participation of every ordinary person.

From garbage classification, low-carbon travel, learning to share, green consumption, CD action, etc. Practicing these specific green lifestyles is for each of us to contribute to the construction of a "waste free city"!

"Waste free city" is a city management concept established in China. Through the joint efforts of several generations, it is certain to realize the domestic urban ecological civilization of "bluer sky, greener water, cleaner soil", where people and nature live in harmony.
